Koroit Irish Festival – dates to be advised

The Koroit Irish Festival is a vibrant and exciting celebration of a small town’s Irish heritage. Beginning in 1997, the festival was the brainchild of a local group of people who knew Koroit’s rich Irish heritage and close knit community should be celebrated and shared with a broader audience. The initial concept has grown into a major inclusion on the south-west’s event calendar, with thousands of people travelling from far and wide to experience quality entertainment in a traditional setting. Koroit’s rolling green landscape and rich volcanic soil made it a popular choice for Irish immigrants fleeing the Great Potato Famine in their home country and it is these strong Irish roots that have resulted in the entertaining Koroit Irish Festival we see today. 2018 is the 22nd Birthday of this famous Celtic celebration – don’t miss out!
